NFC Application
For people to understand the various RFID using scenarios easily, and for our sales team to demo the NFC features in the event to attract visitors.
Project Aim
Create a NFC APP to present company’s strong developing ability in RFID tech and support the sales team to demo how the product is operated. Being a member of the marketing team and UI designer, I want to show our outstanding professional knowledge and ability to program the software through this APP. And also, inspiring our customers who looking for a new solution to create wider possible applications for their products.
Project Objective Defined
1. Guide customers who are unfamiliar with near-field communication (NFC) or have heard of NFC but don't know how to use it.
2. Dig deeper into how the applications can bring additional value to the product.
3. Increase developing projects and expand the market share by defining our strengths in the NFC industry.
4. Develop consumer loyalty and trust through an effective marketing tool.

Research - Talk to Main Users
To achieve project objectives, I spoke to the product manager and sales team members to get a deeper level of mindset with the main users. I downloaded the other companies' NFC apps to look for the advantages and disadvantages points and collect diverse feedback. And, to understand the NFC product completely, participated in the new NFC label development project to design user-using scenarios. However, I define the functionals and process through this interview research.
Summary following points:
1. Our NFC products are project applications with highly customised designs. The company should show the many functionality and application options that our technological skills can provide.
2. Tamper-proof NFC label is now being introduced as a new product feature. Unlike previous functionals, which could only read one form of data by mobile phones, this label can be read in two ways. When the label breaks and before it is broken, different data information is read, therefore additional marketing strategies must be developed for this product.
3. Varied exhibition themes adapt to varied customer requirements, therefore they must contain a wide range of usage scenarios while also explaining how NFC adds value to products.

Marketing Strategies by Industries
-
Access Control and Electronics Exhibition: Most visitors have minimal understanding of NFC and must begin with basic operating codes and application explanations. Therefore, we have to prepare samples and APP to demonstrate some case studies.
-
Logistics Exhibition: Visitors are aware of the RFID tracking feature. There are several logistics applications now available. However, we have an RFID label that can record time and temperature changes and can be read using a mobile phone. It is ideal for use in cold chain logistics settings with restrictions on the environment. So, we can present our development abilities through the special applied products.
-
Industrial and Medical Exhibition: Many engineers and product managers come to search for solutions for asset and process management, such as harsh environments or how to interact with smart factories. As a result, efficiency and project responsiveness are critical competencies that we must exhibit.
Design and Prototyping
In the design process, I divide the 5 parts by different functionals. (Basic read and write, Data logger for temperature recording feature, Tamper proof, Company and products info, Smart home) And, according the features to do the framework.
Test the APP and Demo Kit
Make sure the use process and the device operation are smooth before the App announcement to maximize efficiency and prevent any potential errors.
Test and Using On The Events
Engaged with visitors through the NFC App and demo kit, providing interactive demonstrations and answering inquiries to enhance their overall experience at the event.
